So I just turned sixteen about five days ago, and I was asked by three different people if I had my drivers license. But I am not sure if I really want to get it at sixteen, you see I am not a very outgoing person really, and I am not exactly afraid of driving... I just don't think it's that important at my age... But so my question is, do you think I should have a drivers license, or does it not matter?

I haven't reached 16 yet, so I don't have the best say, but if you wanna get somewhere during the day without having to ask your parents, I'd do it.

That's true, I wouldn't have to bother them (or my other family members) to drive me somewhere. I just don't know if I'm ready, but I guess that's my call isn't it :P

Your going to need to know how do drive soon or later
I dunno how getting a license works were you live though, here you had to get a permit and drive for so many hours before you could get a license. If that's the case, the sooner the better trust me.

EDIT: Also, happy birthday :D

Yes, I'm aware of that fact. I hate growing up :P
It's not like I'm never EVER going to drive, but I don't know if I'm ready... Maybe I should think more about doing it.

Oh, and thank you! :3

I still don't have my drivers licence and I'm 21 but I do have to ask people to take me places every once in a while

Really? :O
Do they ever get irritated at you? Do you ever feel bad that you're inconveniencing them? (If they even think that)

I think it's important because what if there's an emergency? You never know.

I don't think they get irritated at me and if they do get irritated it just a little bit. Also I only ask them to go places that are near areas that they are already heading to anyway

Very important skill to have. Say you need to be able to drive to unexpected, changed circumstances. Say you need to commute to work or school etc.
I've had my license for at least a year now and I haven't driven since I got it. It's a relief to have it, though, as it had been at the back of my mind for a couple of years prior. :P

Sixteen seems quite young for it, though, so don't worry about it yet.
