October 4th 2008

Well today is the day. 11 years since Gunpei Yokoi's death. I hope all of you know what he has brought to us through Nintendo. He was a great man who made the world happy with the Game Boy and other things. RIP Gunpei Yokoi.

Bonus Update: Woah! I got a ton of emails while I was gone! It was so happy to look at my email when I arrived home. That's why I made this little bonus update! Thanks guys, keep the emails coming. It just got me hyped to do an update around here... Oh I almost forgot, a lot of you said something about Deathmatches, Fan Art, Fiction, ect... Those areas are getting a whole new makover, do not worry. I assure you, you guys will like it.

Once again hello. The date is set! The Nintendoland Deathmatch section will be fully restored this Saturday. Speaking of this Saturday, I hope you all know what it is [even though I can garuntee less than 1% of you do know]. Saturday, or, October 4th, marks the 11 years since Gunpei Yokoi has died. I'll post a nice big momorial to him on Saturday. Anyways, you should all be happy that the Deathmatch, [and possible Fan Art, Fiction, Games] will be comming back [Fan Art, Fiction, Games, will be coming back, just not sure when]! So since the Deathmatch section is making it's return, we are seriously going to need some Discussion on it! Please head over to the forums, and give us some suggestions, or anything you would like to say about the Deathmatch section.

Hello everyone, I'm still doing some very small [if not] noticable update around here. There are a lot of spelling, and HTML errors and such that I am working on. Again, the Deathmatch section is still pending on when it will be fixed, but I'm aiming to get it up soon. I must ask you all to email me [Nintendoland@gmail.com] what you want to be updated. I will take your emails with great consideration, and will update it almost on the spot. So send me some emails, and I will get working.

Update: Alright I just updated all the emails I got on Memories, and Rants. It's fully updated. Expect maybe even one more update today.
Update 2:
I don't know why I was thinking about it, but Nintendoland popped into my mind today. I remember back when I was 11 years old, just discovering the internet, I loved your site, I'd always go check the deathmatches and I probably read every page on that site. I was disappointed when summer ended that year and you stopped updating for a while, but for the most part it left my mind. I'd check back every now and then, but after no updates for seven years, I kinda forgot about it.

Anyway, I was pretty surprised to see a lot of recent news. Just wanted to say how much I loved your site back in the day. Keep up the good work, and good luck with everything.

Ok I'm starting to get back into the habit of updating all the pages. I'm pretty much going around fixing links, and making the pages better, updating some things. I just fixed most of the Profiles section. Go check it out, we need a few articles written for Miyamoto. Again, any information that we don't posess would be great, any help would be better.

Not much has been noticed done around here, but in fact it has. I'm still working on a total update of the Metroid section, Planet Zebes, and if you want a sneak peak at it, look here: Planet Zebes
Marcus and I are still trying to get the Deathmatch, and other community sections, up and running sometime soon. Things are taking a bit longer than expected, but that's life I guess. Contributions would be nice from all the fans out their, again, my email is Nintendoland@gmail.com

Hello everyone, not much new content as of yet. I'm working on a few things here. Camp Nintendoland, Metroid site, and a few minor changes around the site. I will be doing more updates this week so get ready for them. Also, I still have this little surprise for you all, but I'm not sure when it will be done. It could be today, it could be a few days. We will see.
Also, today is September 11th, and those of you who don't know, 7 years ago the New York World Trade Centeres were attacked by terrorists. Let us not forget what happened to the people and their families.

Alright, after a long discussion, I've gotten a great idea! A Nintendoland event that happends once or twice a year, an event that is so big, it's sure to draw a crowd! I introduce, Camp Nintendoland! It's going to be an online camp, probably in a few months, because this is going to take weeks to make. You register, get assigned a cabin, and do challenges with your fellow cabin members! Not much can be reveiled yet, but you are sure to like it! I might update again today, who knows, I'm very eager to get working on this camp.

School started, I took a web design class, and for the semester project we have to make a website. So for my project, I'm going to totally re-do the Planet Zebes section on here, which will take a whole semester [half a year]. So while I'm doing that at school, I can update other things here. Besides deathmatches, I'm not quite sure what to work on. If anyone has some useful info / pictures or anything, send it in, I'm sure I can find something for it! Nintendoland@gmail.com. Wow... summer is already over... Man did the time go fast, seems like just yesterday that I started helping this place. Yea, not much has been done, but once school starts, I can promise you for more updates and bigger additions. We will be adding a new section to the forum called "Nintendoland Events" where we will have cool games and things to play where you can win some little prizes and such. Also, MARIOLUIGIYOSHIBOWSERDK posted his Battle Field Game. It looks really fun! Maybe some of you should join in with them :). Another new game to the forum would be Toad160's Nintendoland Puzzler Game. I also recommend checking that out. Anyways, Marcus and I are still trying to coordinate a time to work on the Deathmatch section, as I know that was many of you's favorite section. Until next update,

Heh, a few days since an update. Well anyways, it's my last week of summer until school starts, so I'm trying to get as much in as possible. So don't expect a major update for about a week. Once school starts I will be on more, and able to update more. Now, coming this weekend, Marcus and I are going to try to get the deathmatches up and running again [last weekend he was busy]. So let's look forward to that shall we? Also, I'm addinig a little stuff to the fan art / fiction links, check them out [it's not official yet].

Well another 2 days past. I gave MARIOLUIGIYOSHIBOWSERDK his own page to display his sprites, take a look everyone! Click here to look at it! How can you not like those sprites? Anyways moving on. Tomorrow is going to be a great day. Marcus and I are going to get working on the Nintendoland Deathmatches again! The most favorited part of Nintendoland is finally coming back! I also have another cool surprise that could come tomorrow if I work hard enough. I'm sure you guys will be happy.

Still updating the site in certain areas. I fixed up most of the Mario Mania section as you guys may know. I'm working on a few things:
--A total re-vamp of Mario Mania [But still keeping the Nostalgic feel]
--A SMB3 shrine
--An update to the Mario Games and Enemies section.

I still need some help with certain sections. I need some people to actually start contributing on a regular basis. But first I should work on some places where you can submit stuff :)

August 18th 2008 [Update]

Alright, I've just started a total update of the whole Mario Mania section [and many more as we know it]. I completely updated Geno's page [although, I haven't uploaded it yet, but it will be uploaded soon], I added the new rants that were sent in, I updated the memories. I did a lot of small things, easier navigation and things like that. I'm still working however, so give me some time.

As it may seem, not to many updates were made in this time, but actually, I have been updating the site. This past 2 weeks or so I have been working on the Mario Mania section of the site, just finishing everything up. I found broken links and all. Everything is almost done. I added an all new Ranting Section. So check that out, in the mean time, I am continueing to update other parts of the site, so don't think it's inactive!

Hello everyone, just finishing up some forum touches, and I can really get to work on the site. I also added a Donations button at the bottom left [in the sidebar] and anyone who donates [that is NOT at the forum] will get there name on a special page. And anyone who donates that IS on the forum will get a medal on the forum, and their name on a special page. As for now, I'm going to finish up the forum.

Gosh, it seems like yesterday I was saying June 8th 2008... It's kinda depressing to see time go this fast, and the summer wasting away at my fingertips. Anyways, not to much will get done today, so I'm doing what I can right now, before I get packing again [I'm moving]. As of right now, I updated the Mario Quiz, and made a Questions Submission page so you can send us your questions [for the quiz]! I'm trying to see what else I can do today without pushing it. Not sure, so just check for some updates, and don't forget to join the Forum!

Sorry about no updates yesterday. So I made great progress today, you will start seeing these "forms" pop up all over the place to fill out and submit. Like right now I just finished the one for the Mario Memories. Come Check it out! Otherwise, don't expect much done until Wednesday. On Wednesday we [Marcus and I] are going to be working 6 hours straight

Alright, it's ben a few days since an update. Anyways, not much done, but we assigned some jobs, so give it a few days before thigns start shaping up around here. We also just added the Fan Art, and Fan Fiction sections, so be sure to submit your creations! Also, don't forget to send us links and such under our link section. Expect an update later.

Hey everyone, Zonix and I [mostly Zonix] just finished the Planet Zebes banner...s... There are 3 of them and they alternate as you refresh or view different pages. Also, it still will be awhile until P_Z is finished, but it will be awesome. Expect an update later.

Alright, I spoofed up the main page a bit, I still have 2 more things to ad, but it won't happen for a day or so. Right now I'm working on the new Planet Zebes section, if you want to make a banner for us, read this. We need some help with other graphics and such to, so if you are good with photoshop or whatever, come read it and help out. Up until 5am. I'm pretty tired, but I'm working on the new Planet Zebes. It won't be done for a few days though. Anyways, I'm going to try to get some other stuff done around here.

Wow, I stayed up until 4:30am. I worked for hours on a few new cool things. You may notive when you put your cursor over a picture to the right, it shows a little text box. I also added the affiliates below. And, my favorite, I added a moving lakitu! Special thanks goes to "DeProgrammer" for all the help last night.

Hey everyone, in the server move, only one bad thing came out of it, we had to restart the counter. Oh well, I'm very glad we moved to Bluehost now. But all in all, great move, forums are going great, please join, it's a new experience! Also, check out the Nintendoland office section we added.
